Skinny White Men

Paul Rawson was a fixture of the Bristol music scene throughout the 90’s, writing, recording and gigging with Warner Chappell songwriter Nik Young, who has written for MADONNA, members of PORTISHEAD and future members of KASABIAN. In 2003 he moved to Brighton to study music at BIMM.

Paul has since written and recorded with Julian Deane and Matt Knight (TOPLOADER), played a great number of festivals with Martha Tilston (Glastonbury, Green Man etc) and was resident guitarist in Bruce Dickinson’s (LITTLE ANGELS) awesome blues band amongst others.

Now a member of BOY CRIED WOLF alongside members of MORCHEEBA, Graham Coxon and James Dean Bradfield’s band, he has just finished a tour of the UK supporting Island chart act THE FEELING.

Paul is a multi–instrumentalist fluid in rock, blues, folk, country and pop styles and plays most stringed instruments and effects: electric, acoustic, slide, lap steel, 12 string and baritone guitar as well as dobro, mandolin, sitar, banjo, e-bow and tape echo.
